The tailoring process is easy

There are five simple steps to the tailoring process. Once we have all of your information, we do most of the work so you can focus on the rest of what you need to get done.

Step 1: You download the tailoring instructions via a link to the Benefits Guide Tailoring Instructions for the specific guide style and size you purchased. These instructions give you:

  • An overview of the tailoring options for each page in the guide
  • An image of each page in the guide to clearly show you where we will tailor content and/or any options you have for replacing pre-written text or changing the page layout (where allowed)

Step 2: You input your information – like plan design and other content – and upload your logo via the online content submission form

Step 3: We tailor your guide and send you a proof

Step 4: You review the proof to confirm it accurately reflects the information you submitted and either approve or request corrections via the online Final Acceptance/Request Changes Form

Step 5: You download the final pdf of your guide and post, send and/or print it

 

Tailoring time

Tailoring delivery time varies by the size of guide (following the receipt of your plan design data):

  • 4-page highlights: 3 to 5 business days
  • 8-page standard: 3 to 5 business days
  • 12-page comprehensive: 5 to 7 business days
  • 20-page study: 7 to 10 business days

We have included one proof in the price of each guide. You may submit change requests to your proof via the online Final Acceptance/Request Changes Form. The HR Trove team will review and complete your requested changes within 2 to 3 business days.

Please note: Substantial changes (e.g., changing more than two or three amounts, contact information, typo corrections) to information submitted by you may result in additional charges at $400 per hour. In this situation, we will contact you before proceeding with the work.

Logo requirements

  • Required: Your logo file (.png, .jpg or .eps files accepted)
  • Additional fees, at an hourly rate of $400 per hour, will apply if we are required to make any alterations to your logo for quality rendering 
  • We will size your logo appropriately for quality viewing in the allowable spac
